The Prospex SLA051 Automatic is a modern reinterpretation of Seiko's iconic 1970's diver, the same watch worn by the great adventurer Naomi Uemura, the first man in the world to climb all the highest peaks of five continents.
This mechanical timepiece features a gray dial inspired by the surfaces of the sacred mountains that Uemura observed on his adventures, complemented with a mirror-finished case evoking the reflections of his surroundings.
Powered by Seiko’s in-house, high-torque 8L35 caliber automatic movement, this exceptional diver's watch is hand-assembled at the Shizukuishi Watch Studio specifically to withstand high-intensity diving conditions.
